Stone Byways

Unique to northern Flint Hills, local stone was used in the late 19th century to divide the rangeland and build communities.  Today, these stone features and buildings provide a sense of the past.
Modeled after the State's vehicular Native Stone Byway, our cycling Stone Byways tour gives you a slower and more intimate experience.
With Easy or Moderate skill levels available, these tours are enjoyable for all cyclists..

Stone Byways routes are only offered out of Alma and Volland.
